The next section contains fact sheets about these animals. This one can be done in 15 minutes! Endangered means to be under threat or near extinction.
The aim is for schools across the uk to join together on this issue and lobby for a special day to recognise endangered animals with some actions taking place in lesson 5 and 6. Of the seven species of sea turtle found in our oceans, two (kemp’s ridley and hawksbill) are critically endangered, one (green) is endangered, and three (loggerhead, olive ridley and leatherback) are vulnerable.
