Rnli launches multilingual water safety campaign for ireland’s immigrant community.

Rnli water safety posters. Tragically, an average of 133 people drown each year in ireland. We strive to reduce these fatalities by increasing water safety awareness, changing attitudes and behaviors. Our focus is on public awareness.

They do this through lifeboat search and rescue, lifeguards, water safety education and flood rescue. In episode 1 of our new educational weekly live show # watersafetywednesdays, liam from the rnli’s water safety team will be explaining why it’s important to ‘stop and think’ around water.
